'Draft' mode overwrites

There is a problem I am facing with 'Draft mode'. If we add more headings or questions to the "Draft mode' Article Layout at a later stage and then click the "Copy to editor" button, the new data from the "Draft" mode replaces all the text in the "Editor" mode.
